Terms of Use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use the App on Apple devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except where permitted by law.

Some features of the App are available through StepRing PRO. The App offers the following purchases, all processed by Apple:

• StepRing PRO yearly — an auto-renewable subscription with a one-year billing period, offered with a 3-day introductory period;
• StepRing PRO weekly — an auto-renewable subscription with a one-week billing period;
• StepRing PRO Lifetime — a one-time purchase that unlocks StepRing PRO without a subscription and does not cancel an active subscription automatically;
• Streak Freeze — a consumable one-time purchase.

The price and billing period of each option are shown in the App before you buy.

Payment is processed by Apple and charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, at the same price and for the same period, until you cancel it. Unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, your Apple ID is charged for the next period within the 24 hours before it begins.

You can manage or cancel the subscription at any time in the settings of your Apple ID (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Cancelling stops the next renewal; StepRing PRO stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. We never receive or store your payment details. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.

The yearly StepRing PRO subscription is offered with a 3-day introductory period. Its length is always shown in the App before you start it. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the introductory period ends, it converts into a paid subscription and your Apple ID is charged for the first period, which then renews as described above. Any unused part of an introductory period is forfeited when you buy a subscription.

StepRing PRO Lifetime is a one-time purchase that unlocks StepRing PRO without a subscription. If you already have an active subscription, buying Lifetime does not cancel it: cancel the subscription in your Apple ID settings.

The App also offers Streak Freeze, a one-time consumable purchase. A Streak Freeze is used up when it is applied and cannot be exchanged or transferred. Purchased Streak Freezes are stored on your device. Payment is processed by Apple, and refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.

The App is intended for general fitness and informational purposes. It does not provide medical advice and is not a medical device. Step counts, distances, energy and other figures are estimates that depend on your devices and may be inaccurate. Do not use the App to diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. Speak to a qualified health professional before starting or changing an exercise programme, and stop any activity that causes pain or discomfort.

You agree not to use the App for any unlawful purpose, not to exploit bugs, use unauthorised third-party software, or interfere with the App’s normal operation.

The App and all its content — including code, graphics, text and design — are owned by ITechX Solutions L.L.C-FZ or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you no ownership rights.

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, without errors, or free of harmful components.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ITechX Solutions L.L.C-FZ will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or loss of data, arising from your use of the App.

These Terms are between you and ITechX Solutions L.L.C-FZ only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Your use of the App must also comply with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

We may update these Terms from time to time; the “Effective date” above reflects the latest version. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Dubai shall have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.
