Jelly Fizz 1.1.2: the cork on level 6, ice that melts, and fewer interruptions

Denis Antonov · 3 min read · 15 Sept 2026

Three Jelly Fizz screens: the corked bottle on level 6 in the middle, a frozen top on level 12 on the left, and the Party Jug on level 10 on the right

Jelly Fizz 1.1.2 is out. It’s a small update, and most of it is repair work on the levels where the 1.1 rules first arrive. Nothing new to learn; a few things that finally behave the way the game said they would.

The cork on level 6

Level 6 is where the first twist lands: a corked bottle that opens once any two bottles on the board are filled. The rule worked, but the bottle never showed it. After the second seal the cork stayed drawn shut, so you were looking at a closed bottle you were already allowed to pour into.

We looked at the people who stopped on that level, and none of them had lost. They saw a bottle that looked shut, found nothing to do with it and left, which is a worse ending than any fail screen, because nothing ever told them the board was theirs to finish.

In 1.1.2 the cork lifts a little after the first sealed bottle and flies off after the second. Same rule, and now the bottle tells the truth about it.

Level 6. The cork now moves with every seal instead of only at the end.

Ice that melts

A frozen top used to vanish the moment you made the move, before the pour reached it. The game had already decided the ice was gone while the liquid was still in the air, and it read as a glitch on a level where you’re already reading carefully. Now the ice thaws under the stream, as the pour lands.

Level 12. The ice goes when the soda touches it, not before.

The recipe label

The recipe label sat on the glass, over the colour it was asking for. That element is the one that makes a legal-looking pour illegal, and the label was covering the very thing you needed to read to decide. It’s moved down, under the bottle.

Fewer interruptions

Between levels 4 and 6 a new player could meet six windows in a row, with cards, offers and an ad stacked between one board and the next. That stretch now has three. The game keeps a minimum gap between anything that interrupts a level change, and the first ad you meet comes with a short card that says why it’s there and offers a way to play without them.

A Rescue Pack for the truly stuck

If one level beats you a few times, the game offers a Rescue Pack with extra tools and coins. Undo, Continue and Restart are still on the Stuck screen, and the skip is still there too. Being stuck should cost you the level, not the evening, and that sentence from the 1.1 post still stands.

That’s the whole list

This one adds no new levels, rules or bars. If you’ve never played it, the game page has the screenshots and the spec table. Jelly Fizz 1.1.2 is free on the App Store for iPhone; if you already have it, the update is waiting. The rest of what the studio is writing is on the games blog.

Questions people ask

Did the cork rule on level 6 change?
No. The cork still comes off once any two bottles on the board are filled. What's changed is the bottle: the cork now lifts after the first seal and pops off after the second, so you can see it happening.
Why did the ice disappear before the pour reached it?
The thaw was resolved the moment the move was made, before the pour landed, so the ice was gone while the liquid was still in the air. In 1.1.2 it melts under the stream.
Does the update touch my progress?
No. Levels, coins and boosters carry over unchanged.
